Tutoring, afterschool and test prep remain strong categories with solutions ranging from app based study support such as Questt, Pariksha and Physics Wallah, personalized tutoring (Vedantu) through to social learning platforms (Sohopathi). As more institutions seek to incorporate digital into their traditional offerings we see a surge in systems and learning environments that provide digital learning infrastructure. Startups such as Uolo provide school communication tools or Saarthi Pedagogy offering a platform for blended delivery. Solutions to finance education also continues to grow with newer teams such as Leap Finance and Jodo.

EdTech focused on STEAM, particularly in K12 shows significant growth for early stage startups, with most under three years old.
Many of this year's list in the STEAM category are three years old or less, including teams such as Bhanzu, Codeyoung and Codingal, most being founded just prior to the pandemic and seeing traction through that period as parents sought digital solutions when schools and offline tutoring centers were out of action. Over these years, digital habits have formed and these startups continue to develop their products and services.
