Methodology

The Global Impact Taxonomy is the world's open source classification framework for the global impact economy. The taxonomy maps over 140 individual clusters of innovation across three distinct landscapes; Climate Technology, Education Technology and Health Technology which includes medical and bio technology.

Each of the three industry landscapes embrace two classical approaches to data, analytics and design. ‘Bottom Up’ analysis powered by HolonIQ’s Impact Intelligence Platform leveraging powerful machine learning and artificial intelligence, augmenting ‘Top Down’ analysis driven by a global network of experts across all domains.
