After nearly two and a half years since its announcement, the €5 billion federal funding package for supporting digital infrastructure in schools was finally passed through parliament. While digital skills and innovation get much needed attention with a proposal to develop a central platform to support these initiatives, Germany’s largest education fair draws crowds but communicates lack of digital leadership.
