Steve Fireng is the Global CEO of Keypath Education. Since founding Keypath in 2014, he has steered its growth into a leading online program management and EdTech partner—recognized as the foremost provider of online education services in Australia and Southeast Asia—while expanding health education presence across United States. Based in Illinois, USA, Steve brings over 25 years of higher education leadership.

Before starting Keypath, Steve served as CEO and President of EmbanetCompass (later Pearson Embanet), where he built partnerships with colleges and universities to scale online offerings. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at Career Education Corporation (today called Perdoceo Education) as a founding leadership team member, launching two online universities—growing enrollment to over 30,000 students in five years—and concluding his tenure as Group President.
Under Steve’s direction, Keypath has introduced numerous healthcare education programs in collaboration with university partners, driving innovation at the intersection of EdTech and healthcare. His global vision and operational expertise blend academic rigor with technology to deliver complex degrees and short courses solving many of the shortages within healthcare and other in-demand careers.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the W.A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University.
