Scott Pulsipher is President of Western Governors University (WGU), the nation’s largest nonprofit, competency-based university. Since 2016, he has led WGU’s academic and operational strategy, driving innovation in curriculum, faculty models, and cost to improve student outcomes. A recognized leader in education and technology, Pulsipher chairs the President’s Forum and serves on boards including the American Council on Education and Handshake’s Impact Advisory Board. Prior to WGU, he held leadership roles at Amazon, IBM, and several startups. He holds a BA from BYU and an MBA from Harvard.
