Managing Director & Senior Partner at BCG

Lane McBride is a Managing Director and Senior Partner of Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and leads BCG’s Education, Employment, and Welfare team in North America. This team supports public, private, and social sector organizations on topics spanning early ed, K12, post-secondary education, workforce development, and human services.  

Lane has served clients across all levels of government, with particular depth in education and workforce-related issues; he has worked with economic development, workforce, higher education, and/or PK-12 entities in 20 states. Lane has spoken and/or co-authored pieces on topics including education-employer partnerships, supporting off-track and disconnected young people, P-20 data, broadband and closing the digital divide, child care and early learning, Generative AI, the public sector workforce, and education cost effectiveness. Lane serves on the board of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.

Lane is a graduate of the University of Virginia and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and daughters.
