Karen Quanbeck brings over 30 years of experience in education and currently serves as Vice President of Field Implementation at Colorado Education Initiative (CEI). She has held diverse roles including teacher, principal, chief, and superintendent. She has led in a large metro district and a small mountain district. At CEI, Karen is leading efforts to increase statewide coherence and collaboration for AI in K12 education. She leads an innovative project supporting eight districts in transforming their systems to ensure students graduate with AI literacy and skills needed for a rapidly evolving future. She is deeply committed to transforming education by fostering powerful community partnerships and creating relevant learning experiences for all students.
