Before Claflin, he served as president of Harris-Stowe State University, where he secured over $15 million in external funding and oversaw transformative institutional growth. His leadership emphasizes academic excellence, student development, and diversity, with over 120 presentations on inclusion and leadership. Dr. Warmack previously held senior roles at Bethune-Cookman University, Rhodes College, Western Carolina University, and Delta State University. A recognized scholar-practitioner, he is known for data-driven decision-making and adapting education to meet the needs of Generation Z. His accolades include the Eisenhower Fellowship, numerous leadership awards, and service on several influential boards. Dr. Warmack holds degrees from Delta State and Union University, with post-doctoral studies at Harvard’s School of Education.
