Angie Kamath is Dean of NYU’s School of Professional Studies (SPS), where she leads a dynamic institution serving over 5,000 degree-seeking and 10,000 continuing education students across 37 programs. Under her leadership, NYU SPS has become a global leader in fields such as sports management, hospitality, real estate, publishing, global affairs, and business leadership.
A recognized expert in workforce development and the future of work, Dean Kamath partners with industry leaders to create innovative academic initiatives and expand access to education. She has been appointed to New York City’s Future of Workers Task Force and the “New” New York Panel, both focused on shaping the city’s economic and workforce landscape.
Previously, she held senior roles at the City University of New York, Per Scholas, and the NYC Department of Small Business Services, consistently driving impact through job training, skills development, and career pathways.
