Amit has played a central role at Owl Ventures since its inception, leading investments and serving on the boards of top edtech companies such as Codecademy, RaiseMe, Securly, Thinkful, Lingo Live, Tinkergarten, and Whitehat Jr—all of which have been acquired. He currently works closely with companies like Amira Learning, BorderPlus, Honorlock, Leap, Panorama Education, and Starbridge, supporting them across global expansion, product quality, and impact. Amit brings hands-on expertise in distribution, strategic partnerships, talent, fundraising, M&A, and outcomes measurement. Prior to Owl Ventures, he founded Personal Academic Trainers, led quality assurance and sales training at Mathnasium, and served as Director of Technology at Success Academy Charter Schools in NYC. He also sits on the National Board of uAspire, a nonprofit focused on college affordability. Amit holds a B.A. from Rice University and an MBA/MA in Education from Stanford, and he is a Pahara-NextGen and Education Pioneers Fellow.
