One of HolonIQ’s key areas of focus for 2020 is the exciting and emerging EdTech market in Latin America. In 2018 we made a massive investment in building out our Chinese datasets, in 2019 we focused on India and in 2020, LATAM is a major focus.
The LATAM EdTech Landscape below is an early snapshot ahead of our first summit for 2020 in Medellin, Colombia in late October 2020 in partnership with WISE and Ruta N. HolonIQ is built on equal parts deep machine intelligence combined with global networks of experts and executives. Building on a base of hundreds of LATAM leaders from our Global Executive Panel, our October 2020 regional deep-dive aims to connect with hundreds more startups, institutions and investors shaping the future of education and workforce on the continent. 2020 will see HolonIQ build the world’s single largest data-source on education and talent innovation across LATAM to power decisions that matter.
The graphic below is a brief snapshot of our early work on the LATAM EdTech Landscape. Brazil is a well-established market with a number of large players listed on the B3 stock exchange in São Paulo in addition to hundreds of EdTech startups. Argentina, Colombia and Mexico are all exciting and fast-growing ecosystems with emerging scaffolding and innovation support. We are in the very early stages of mapping across the broader LATAM markets and will be connecting with leaders across the region through our deep-dive to prioritize our coverage.
